Brooke Bedinger

August 3, 1998 ~ June 21, 2018 (age 19)

Brooke was tragically taken from us in a motorcycle accident on June 21, 2018. She was born on August 3, 1998 in Port Angeles to Donald and Kimberly Bedinger, Jr. She attended high school at Sequim High School and was an active member in the Sequim High School Choir. She remained active after graduation in the booster program, donating countless hours to the kids and couldn't wait until she was old enough to chaperone. She was registered to start at Peninsula College in the fall. She worked at Office Depot until getting a new job at Olympic Springs.

Brooke is survived by her parents, Don and Kim Bedinger, Jr., Brother and sister in law, Donald and Katy Bedinger, III, Brother, Chase Bedinger, Grandparents, Gary and Debbie Johnson and Kathy Bedinger, Nephew, Corbyn Alves, niece, Ella Bedinger, many aunts, uncles, cousins and her Hooligans Family. She is pre-ceded in death by her grandfather Donald Bedinger Sr.

Brooke was an amazing, loving, and full of life young lady. She loved spending time with her family and friends, they were her absolute world. She loved having lake days and would spend countless hours at the lake. She also loved to go camping, and was a very outdoorsy young lady.

She loved to sit around the campfire until the wee hours of the morning, making smores, telling stories and playing screwball rummy!

Brooke loved to be involved with the Easter Egg hunt, which was originally started because of her, and the Chili Cook off at the Hungry Bear Café. She loved to hide the eggs for the little ones at the Easter Egg Hunt, and organize games for the kids at the Chili Cook-off. She loved kids, she would spend countless hours with her Niece and Nephew. She couldn't wait to be a mother. But not only did Brooke love the kiddos, she loved everyone! It didn't matter who you were she loved you! She would drop anything to go help her family and friends. They were literally her life!

Brooke also loved riding motorcycles with her family. She had developed an extended family through her love of riding, that absolutely loved Brooke. The smile on her face when she got to go for a ride or ride on the back of her daddy's bike, was priceless!

There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, July 7, 2018, 1 p.m. at Lighthouse Christian Center (304 Viewcrest Ave.) in Port Angeles, with a procession following out to the reception at Carrie Blake Park.
