Joseph Daniel HenryApril 8, 1986 ~ October 4, 2017 (age 31)
Joseph Daniel "Joe" Henry, 31, of Port Angeles passed away on October 4, 2017, much too soon.
Joe was born to Randy L. Henry and Judy A. Finley-Brown on April 8, 1986, in Port Angeles.
During his early years, Joe attended Forks and Clallam Bay schools, and obtained his GED from Peninsula College.
In Forks, Joe worked janitorial at Forks Community Hospital and then on to be a green chain puller. After that, Joe worked at Henry Hardwood Floor Service with his brother, Jarrod, in Port Orchard, Washington.
Joe liked to fish with his friends when he was younger, and he always had a soft heart for animals. He taught himself to play the banjo and enjoyed playing at the church and long-term care facilities. Joe was a member of First Baptist Church in Forks.
He grew to have an appreciation for the Bible and often wrote down Scripture verses. He had a soft spot for others in their struggles, as he himself struggled. He was loved very much and will be greatly missed by both family and friends and those whose lives he touched.
Joe leaves behind his grandparents, Ed and Jerry Finley of Forks; his parents, Randy Henry of Sequim and Judy A. (James) Brown of Sekiu; his brother, Jarrod W. (Selena) Henry of Port Orchard; and many aunts and uncles.
Joe was preceded in death by his grandpa Charles Henry Sr. and grandma June M. Durboraw, aunt Jeri and uncle Chuck, and three cousins.
There will be a memorial of Joseph's life on Saturday, October 14, 2017, at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 651 South Forks Avenue in Forks.
