Andy Hinrichs, 41, of Joyce, Washington, beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin, friend, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday afternoon, July 20, 2016. Andy was born in Mexico City and came to the USA by way of adoption in 1979. He spent his early childhood in Bothell and in Brier, Washington. After a brief career in construction, he became a cook. For many years, he has served up excellent meals for family and friends. He has been a resident of the Olympic Peninsula since 2004 where he became an avid fisherman on the lakes and rivers in the area.
A special shout out to the Blackberry Cafe in Joyce. They gave him steady employment and many friendships. Andy knew Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior and was committed to sharing his faith with others. All who knew Andy knew him to be totally content with the simple things in life. Loving his friends and family meant the most to him.
Andy is survived by Larry Hinrichs, his father, Christine Hinrichs, his step mother, Laura Allison, mother, Scott Hinrichs, brother, Geoff Jacobson, brother, Lisa Hansen, sister. Teri Accettella, sister, Kenneth Jacobson, brother, Jana Davis, sister, and Matthew Hinrichs, brother.
Andy was very close with numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved friend, Mel. Her son, Richard Phelps, of Port Angeles, was like a son to Andy.
