Adelfa Germain of Port Angeles passed away on August 7, 2017 due to health complications at the age of 80 at her home surrounded by her loved ones.
Adelfa was born on June 2, 1937 in Poth, Texas, to Manuel and Lucia DeLeon.
She married Wayne Germain on June 30, 1962, in Kawkawlin, Minnesota.
Adelfa loved being a wife, a mother, a homemaker, a grandmother and a great-grandmother; loved to sew and make baby blankets; and attending church at Grace Baptist Church. Adelfa loved being married to her husband for 55 years.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne Germain; her daughters, Alice Rodocker, Veda (Steve) Lauderback, Judy (Jeff) Allen and Sue "Neva" (Ed) Bates; her sons, Raymond Germain and Veitus Germain; sisters Maria Perez, Salome (Richard) Pena and Leandra (David) Nanez; brothers Juan (Paulita) DeLeon, Victor (Enedelia) DeLeon, Luis (Blanca) DeLeon and Danny (Gracie) DeLeon; sisters-in-law Josie and Maria DeLeon; grandchildren Tom, Ben, Matt and Chris Rodocker, Delsen and Steven Lauderback, John, Jazmin, and Jacob Allen and Tia and Sammi Bates; and great-grandchildren Tomas and Payton Rodocker, Teddy-Rae and Ronnie Rodocker and Olivia Rodocker, Maddie, Rianne, Jaidyn and Grayson Rodocker, and baby girl Lauderback.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Lucia, and her brothers Ector and Ray DeLeon.
Church services will be held at Grace Baptist Church, 4221 South Mount Angeles Rd, Port Angeles, on Friday August 18, 2017 at noon (12:00 pm). There will be a moment of short viewing following the services for people to give their final condolences. A Graveside service will be held at Ocean View Cemetery at 2:30 pm at 3127 West 18th St, Port Angeles, WA.
A potluck reception will be held immediately following the graveside service back at Grace Baptist Church.
